MYTHS ABOUT EE

1. I know about EE or I have done EE because I read the EE textbook or have memorized the EE outline.

2. Evangelism Explosion International is a ministry of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church.

3. EE is too confrontational.

4. EE won't work where I live (ie. In the northeast, because people don't want to talk with you at their door).

5. Your pastors, deacons and elders will be excited when you tell them about EE.

6. If you do EE your church will grow rapidly.

7. People don't want to do EE because it is too long (13 weeks).

8. EE is a canned approach.

9. People don't like to be visited in their homes.

10. EE is for those who have the gift of evangelism.

11. EE is only door-to-door evangelism.

12. EE is just another church program and we are already doing a lot.

13. It is up to the pastor or the church to do stuff like that.

14. People don't like to talk about their faith.

15. EE is just witness training.

16. EE is out of date and will not work in today's culture.

17. EE is easy to implement.

18. Everyone knows you should do evangelism.

19. You don't have to do personal evangelism to win the lost.
