How God is working through local church EE across Canada

I am so grateful for the investment that God's family members have made in equipping myself and others to be able to confidently share the gospel message in such a clear, understandable way. I was skeptical prior to taking the clinic, but the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit, working in and through average people like myself as the good news was presented, changed my perspective. It is truly a miracle watching an individual realize the transforming truth of God's love through Jesus Christ. I see more opportunities in my daily life than I have in the past simply because I feel I do have a clear, gentle and respectful "answer for the hope that I have" (1 Peter 3:15).

As a physical therapist without any formal Bible education it is such a joy and privilege to be
involved in the Great Commission and to be able to encourage others so that they can, too. I love the teaching and discipleship aspect of EE. Through this program, with the encouragement of my pastors and church family, I have grown spiritually and discovered gifts I didn't think I had. Most of all it has given me back that eternal perspective and joy that I had early on as a Christian. We truly have good news to share with others.

Personal Story

I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour at an ealy age and was blessed with good Bible teaching and a desire to study the Word. I did, however, lack effective guidance on how to share my Christian faith. Evangelism Explosion training dispelled my fear of witnessing by equipping me with an organized and practical approach to presenting the Gospel and allowing me to gain presentation experience with the support of an EE trainer.

Involvement in the EE ministry of my local church has brought a new excitement to my Christian life as I attempt to obey the Great Commission. I have been humbled as I have witnessed the faithfulness of the Holy Spirit in drawing souls to Christ through the Gospel presentation approach I learned in EE.

My local church has also been blessed as the EE ministry equips saints to share the Gospel. The enthusiasm and thrill of leading a soul to Christ is a team effort led by the Holy Spirit; those involved in training witnesses, sowing the Seed, watering it with prayer, reaping and discipling all share alike in the blessing. We have been drawn closer to Christ and to each other as we labour together to reach our city for Jesus.

As I continue to be involved as a trainer in the EE ministry, I am amazed at the grace of God and reminded that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is indeed the best news I have ever heard. EE study, training and ministry continues to greatly enrich my personal Christian life.
