EE training has been developed, tried, evaluated, and
refined over a period of more than 40 years. We believe
it constitutes the finest training available in the
Christian world for church leaders who want to equip
their people in friendship, evangelism, discipleship,
and healthy growth.
What is an EE Clinic?
An EE clinic experience will give you a ROLE-MODEL
for your own thirteen-week EE training semester at your
local church. Through the involvement of a host congregation
that has a vibrant EE Ministry, you will see first hand
how to establish an EE Training Ministry in your church.
EE
ministries such as: Kids, Youth, Adult, Seniors, Intercultural
and Prison, conduct their own clinics to train pastors
and lay leaders to equip their church for effective
evangelism. For information please contact us.
Who Should Attend?
The pastor's leadership in EE is crucial. Experience
has proven that pastors need to be involved to ensure
a growing EE ministry.
Whenever possible, one or two church staff or lay leaders
with the following skills: Suplication, Teaching, Enlistment,
Administration, Maintaining records (STEAM) should attend
the clinic with the pastor.
The priority skill areas of administration, enlistment,
and teaching are especially important.
Lay leaders need to attend a clinic with their pastor
unless their pastor has already attended a clinic. Prior
training in a local thirteen-week semester is beneficial
but not required.
What Happens at a Clinic?
You will receive the teaching notes, Level I Training
Notebook used by trainees, a copy of the EE textbook,
Evangelism Explosion, by Dr. D. James Kennedy, and copies
of other supplemental booklets and materials. Meals
are provided with the exception of three lunches. Housing
is also provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The
four-and-a-half days of an EE Clinic include class instruction,
demonstrations, practice sessions, prayer groups, worship
periods, three nights of on-the-job training, and an
exciting banquet on the opening night. The concept of
S.T.E.A.M. support is taught, and you'll receive certification, qualifying you to: teach all levels of
EE, certify trainers, and maintain a quality ministry
in your church.
More than three decades of field-testing and revisions
have provided EE with world-class training materials
that have been tried and proven in thousands of churches
around the world. Attendance at all sessions is required
for certification.
Upon
returning to your church, you will lead a thirteen-week
training semester, during which lay persons are guided
through: home study, class time, and onthe-job training.
Spiritual multiplication occurs when “Trainees”
gain confidence and become “Trainers” of
others in the following semesters. Churches are encouraged
to start small and build strong. When a clinic-trained
pastor puts this “spiritual multiplication” in motion, four semesters of training can produce over
80 soul winners!
EE works because “it” is simply the message
and method of Jesus Christ. Jesus began with a few men
and turned the world upside down. Using His example,
EE is doing the same.
